Khadija is a writer, photographer and academic based in Brooklyn, New York.

She began her career as a music journalist, and is the co-author of 33 1/3: Coke Studio Season 14, which was published by Bloomsbury in 2025. Before moving to Brooklyn, she was an adjunct faculty member at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan, where she taught writing and communication. She currently teaches writing at St. John’s University in New York.

Between 2020 and 2021, she was a Fulbright scholar at New York University, where she got a master’s degree in Journalism. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from the Lahore School of Economics. Her work interests include culture, history, food, and music.
